We build and host private social networks — not another public feed, and not the church marriage ministry at communio.org.
Who we are
Communio Social is a founder-operated platform at communiosocial.com. We provision each community at its own subdomain, keep the stack updated, and stay out of your content decisions. You invite members and set the tone; we handle hosting, auth, and infrastructure.
Isolated by design
Every community is separate from every other. Member profiles, forum posts, and groups live in that community’s space — not in a shared public timeline. Paid steps move your community onto stronger isolation and capacity while keeping the same URL.
Early and honest
We are a young product with a small public directory today. That is normal for a hosted platform at launch: most communities are private circles, not listed for strangers to browse. We would rather be clear about that than pretend the directory is crowded.
Commerce when you want it
Your private social network is enough on its own. You can also add a marketplace — a public storefront where people can shop without joining, and any member can sign up to sell. If you have a subscription, our fee on those sales counts toward it. Seats and pricing are on the growth path.
