Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function:

• session — keeps you signed in after login (HTTP-only, set by our API).
• Consent cookie — remembers your cookie category choices.
• Theme cookie — stores font size, accent, and background preferences.

Analytics cookies

Optional. If you opt in, we may use analytics (for example Firebase Analytics / Google) to understand how visitors use the site. Google may set cookies such as _ga under its own policies.

Advertising cookies (Google Ads)

On communiosocial.com marketing pages we load the Google Ads tag (gtag.js, ID AW-18391815503) to measure conversions and remarketing. It loads from www.googletagmanager.com. It is not loaded on the LinkedIn ad landing (/linkedin/) or on visits attributed to LinkedIn ads, and not in the product-tour iframe at /embed/. Community product sites use a separate optional analytics consent flow.

Advertising cookies (LinkedIn ads)

When you arrive from a LinkedIn advertisement (for example via /linkedin/ or a LinkedIn click id), we may load the LinkedIn Insight Tag for that browser session only. The tag uses LinkedIn domains such as snap.licdn.com and px.ads.linkedin.com, and we store a first-party session cookie (communio_li_ads) so later pages in the same visit can measure ad engagement. Organic visitors who did not come from a LinkedIn ad do not load this tag.

Browser storage

During email sign-in we may temporarily store an email address in localStorage only for that authentication step, then remove it.

Managing your choices

Where a consent banner is shown, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences by category. Product communities may also offer Cookie settings in the footer.

Changes

We may update this policy. When the consent version changes, you may be asked to confirm choices again.
