How Communio Social collects, uses, and shares information on the marketing site and hosted communities.

Overview
Communio Social operates communiosocial.com and hosts community spaces at addresses on communiosocial.com. This policy describes our data practices for the marketing site, community signup, and the Communio Social product. Vertical communities (such as Paydirt Social) use the same platform privacy model unless they publish a vertical-specific supplement.
Information we collect
Account information such as email, display name, and handle; content you post (discussions, groups, feedback, marketplace listings); usage and security logs; and, where you enable them, cookies for sign-in, preferences, and analytics. During signup and billing we collect contact details and payment information processed by Stripe.
How we use information
To provide and secure Communio Social, authenticate users, moderate content, operate billing and optional marketplace features, improve the product, and send service-related notices.
Your community’s data
Each community is separate. Member profiles, forum posts, and group content live in that community’s space and are managed under our policies and the host’s community rules.
Cookies and session
We use essential cookies for sign-in, theme, and consent choices, plus optional analytics cookies where enabled. See our Cookie Policy.
Service providers
We use providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, authentication, and storage, and Stripe for payments. Each provider processes data under its own terms as needed to run the service. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
Update profile and notification settings in your community account. Community hosts manage invitations and membership. To remove your Communio Social account and associated data, see our Data deletion page.
Retention and children
We retain account and content data while accounts are active and as needed for legal, security, and backup purposes. The service is not directed at children under 13.
Changes and contact
