Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Communio Social for using our marketing site, signup, and hosted communities.
Last updated: August 2026
Introduction and acceptance
By accessing or using communiosocial.com, creating a community, or using a hosted Communio Social community, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract.
Service
Communio Social hosts private social networks for community organizers. Free communities are available at addresses you choose on communiosocial.com. Paid plans unlock dedicated capacity and additional features as described at signup and in the host billing portal. Product verticals (for example Paydirt Social) run on the same Communio platform with vertical-specific features and legal supplements where published.
Your account
Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information and do not impersonate others. Community hosts are responsible for invitations, moderation within their space, and compliance with applicable law.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Communio a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content to operate the service. You are responsible for what you post, including forum posts, group content, and vendor listings.
Community and posting
User-generated content reflects individual contributors—not professional advice. See our Community Guidelines for posting rules.
Growth billing
Subscription amounts follow the published growth ladder based on registered member counts where applicable. Billing step-ups require host acceptance of the applicable plan.
Marketplace
If you sell products through hosted checkout on a Communio community, you also agree to the Marketplace policy. Sellers are independent merchants responsible for fulfillment, returns, and refunds. Communio is not the seller of record for marketplace transactions.
Prohibited uses
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, spam, or to mislead other users. See the Community Guidelines for details.
Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, take a community offline, or terminate access for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
Disclaimers and liability
The service and user content are provided “as is” without warranty. Content is informational and not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Communio and its operators are not liable for decisions you make based on user content or third-party services used with Communio.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes to authenticated product terms may require acceptance before you continue using those features. Continued use of this marketing site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for this site.
